THE CHAIR — Fed Rate Decision Simulator

v3.0.0 August 8, 2026

One Game, One Engine

"Two doors, one house. We stopped maintaining the second door."

  • FlyMacroPilot is absorbed. Its six eras of dated headlines, presidential quotes and advisor lines now run inside THE CHAIR, keyed to whichever era you are playing New
  • Dr. Marcus Feldman reads the room — his mood, the ring around him and his counsel all move with inflation, growth and your credibility, and he speaks before you commit as well as after New
  • Era-correct markets. No Bitcoin price in 1979. The 1929 S&P reads 31 rather than "0.0K". Gold and oil come from the historical series rather than the simulation Fixed
  • The news arrives in the right decade. The Volcker Shock had been opening on 1973 headlines and never reaching 1979 at all Fixed
  • Nixon no longer speaks in 1979 — he resigned in 1974. Carter, then Reagan, in the right quarters Fixed
  • The invented statistics are gone. "142 economists watching", "105,847 players", and the header counter that climbed on a timer. Nobody was watching Fixed
  • 28 achievements, presidential cards in the live feed, and a resumed game that plots the history you actually played New
  • Advertising, disclosed. The game is free and may carry ads in the margins and after a run — never beside a live decision. What runs is named in the Terms New
v2.5.0 July 2026 — built, never shipped

The Fusion

Recorded because it happened. The merger of THE CHAIR and FlyMacroPilot was built through July into a separate folder — and that folder was not the one the site served. It reached nobody. v3.0 is what finally put it in front of players, which is why this entry has a date and no release.
